McNellis joined Canaras with over 20 years of capital markets/fixed income experience. Prior to Canaras, he was with Bear Stearns International in London as Managing Director of Special Situations Group in the Fixed Income Division. Prior to that, McNellis was with Morgan Stanley as Executive Director High Yield Sales; in Institution Sales at Alex Brown and Sons; and Vice President/Head of Capital Markets at Banco di Sicilia.

McNellis has an MS from Johns Hopkins University of Advanced International Studies with an International Economics concentration. He also has his Series 7 and UK securities license.
