Chao has been a specialist in credit analysis with INVESCO and The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. Prior to joining Canaras, he traded equity derivatives for Citigroup Capital Markets, Inc.

He received a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School and a B.A.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Chao obtained his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
